Once Upon A Dream Kennels
We are a small, family run, program located in Idaho Falls, ID focusing on producing quality, health tested corgis; balancing pedigree, conformation, and drives, while keeping that corgi personality we all love!
I have been on the search for the perfect "smaller" dog to add to our family and program! I was looking for a great dog that would be tough enough to play on the farm with us and be sweet in the house. We wanted a dog that would be small enough to travel with us, but able to keep up with the big dogs too. We were lucky enough to be introduced to this amazing breed through one of our best friends. We met her corgis and were immediately hooked!
We are working to balance conformation and pedigree with drive and personality. We are wanting to produce great dogs while keeping in mind the little working dogs that corgis were developed to be! We are hoping to have some more drivey dogs for active and working homes (such as agility) as well as a quieter, calmer line for those that are looking for a wonderful family companion!
We think that health testing is very important and so we are testing our dogs for all the breed-required tests and more. We are wanting to produce the healthiest dogs we can so they can have the best, longest life with their wonderful families possible!
Our puppies are raised right in our home as part of our family! We believe in early socialization and exposure. We try to introduce them to as many things as we can. We work closely with our veterinarians to make sure they are as happy and healthy as they possibly can be.
We truly love these little dogs and are really looking forward to seeing this program grow and the wonderful puppies that will come into our lives!
